I’m Patti Dillon, Building Permit Technician Coordinator for the City of Cottage Grove, MN where I’ve worked for 24 years. My career began in the insurance industry as a Business Manager before transitioning to a part-time role with the City, answering the inspection line & scheduling inspections. Over the years I’ve advanced from part-time scheduler to my current position where I support the building team, establish priorities, coach staff and ensure effective communication across departments. I’m proud of the relationships I’ve built with builders, homeowners and colleagues and I thrive in this dynamic, people-oriented role.
