The Buffalo Police Department is seeking applications to fill a full-time police officer position. Applicants must be POST licensed or eligible to be licensed.. Applicants must meet all minimum qualifications outlined in the job description.
The Buffalo Police Department consists of 19 sworn officers and serves a population of approximately 18,000 residents.
Patrol officers work a rotating schedule of 10.5-hour shifts, 4-days on and 4-days off.
Lateral entry will be considered. Field training period may be adjusted for experienced candidates.
