Paid On Call Firefighter

$18.92 Hourly

The City of Osseo is looking for Paid On-Call Firefighters to assist with medical, fire, hazmat, rescue, medical and other emergency incidents, and participate in training, maintenance activities and community events. 

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required, and some experience in a firefighting and/or EMR capacity is preferred but not required.
Special Requirements:
•Valid Driver’s License
•Must be able to respond within 7 minutes from home or work
•Must pass a background check
•Must pass OSHA mandated medical and physical testing
•Firefighter 1 Certification (training available upon hire)
•Firefighter 2 Certification (training available upon hire)
•Hazardous Materials Operations Certification (training available upon hire)
•Emergency Medical Responder Certification (training available upon hire)
