Southern MN Municipal Power Agency is now hiring for Human Resources & Insurance Administrator
The Human Resources and Insurance Administrator oversees HR policies, employee benefits, safety programs, and business insurance. They ensure effective recruitment, performance management, and compensation, while maintaining compliance with labor laws. The role also involves managing health, life, dental, disability, and retirement benefits, along with workers’ compensation.
Additionally, they implement workplace safety initiatives and provide risk management guidance to the agency and its members. Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and adaptability are essential, along with a bachelor’s degree and five or more years of experience, preferably in the public sector.
This position requires a proactive team player who can build relationships, support agency goals, and handle diverse responsibilities. The role is critical in fostering a safe, efficient, and employee-friendly work environment while ensuring the agency’s risk mitigation strategies align with its operations.
